Another day, another rumor. This time we’re talking about the next generation of the Samsung Galaxy phone – Galaxy S III or Galaxy S3, whatever suits you best. The rumor is that the South Korean company will unveil the new device from the floor of the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, just like they did with the Galaxy S II model.
Specs wise, such a smartphone is said to sport a quad-core processor, 720p screen (1280×720 pixels) and more (2GB) of RAM. Needless to say, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will run the show with Sammy’s own TouchWIZ UI singing on top. In related news, we’re also hearing the Galaxy S 3D is in works as well. When you think about it – this also makes sense with Samsung being the only major handset maker without a 3D Android smartphone — LG has its Optimus 3D and HTC – Evo 3D.
At the end it’s important to emphasize this is still an early rumor and while we think many of the things said in this article make perfect sense to us, we can’t claim Samsung will actually launch the two products in the near future – we hope they’ll do, but don’t hold us liable in any way.
